BRIGHT EYES
Bright Eyes are celebrating 21 years of the two albums they released on the same day in 2005 — I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn — with special shows, and they begin next month. Each features old friends as openers: Ben Kweller at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks on May 6, The Moldy Peaches at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on May 23, and Built to Spill at NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium on June 6.
SLEAFORD MODS TOUR SUPPORT
Sleaford Mod will soon start their North American tour, and they’ve announced the opening acts. Dazy will be on most of the tour — including their two Brooklyn shows at Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 8 & 9 — while a few shows are opened by smug and Problems.
TIGERCUB AND PUZZLED PANTHER
Loosegroove-signed UK alt rock band Tigercub released a new record earlier this month, and at the moment they have only one upcoming show, at NYC’s Gramercy Theatre on May 13. NYC’s Gogol Bordello-affiliated Puzzled Panther (whose drummer is Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) were just added as opener. Tickets are on sale
IAN SWEET
Ian Sweet, the project of LA-based musician Jilian Medford, will release her new album Shiverstruck on July 24 via Polyvinyl and will be on tour with American Football this summer, including the NYC show at Brooklyn Paramount on July 9. After that tour wraps, Ian Sweet will head out on a headline tour this fall.
SECRETLY 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
This year marks indie label group Secretly’s 30th anniversary, and they’ve announced a celebratory weekend in Bloomington, IN on August 27-29 featuring Durand Jones, Sharon Van Etten, Kevin Morby and more.
BLACK COUNTRY, NEW ROAD
Black Country, New Road have announced fall tour dates that include many cities they’ve never played before. Before that, they’ve got summer dates with indie rock trio Horsegirl, including a show at Asbury Park’s Stone Pony on July 5.
III POINTS
Miami festival III Points returns on October 16-17 at Mana Wynwood, and they’ve announced the phase 1 lineup, which includes Four Tet, horsegiirL, Tricky, Kelela, Lil’ Kim, Underworld, and more.
TINLICKER
Dutch electronic trio Tinlicker have announced a fall North American tour where they’ll be bringing their full band, all-live show to the US and Canada. Stops include NYC’s Brooklyn Paramount on September 26

MIDDLE AGED DAD JAM BAND
David Wain and co-star and The State co-founder Ken Marino will celebrate 25 years of Wet Hot American Summer by taking their group Middle Aged Dad Jam Band on a summer tour.
SLIFT
The French psych band will support their second album, Fantasia, on tour in North America this fall.

Jesse Malin announced a final extension of his Off Broadway show, Silver Manhattan.
PUBLIC OPINION
Denver hardcore/alt-rock fusionists Public Opinion announced new June shows after their dates supporting Drug Church and White Reaper.

Grouper announced a rare tour, stopping in select cities in the US and Canada.
