Earlier this month, Saint Vitus Bar announced they’d be reopening in a new Brooklyn location this fall, at 428 Troutman Street in Bushwick (the onetime home of Brooklyn Made). They’ve now revealed the initial lineup of shows there! It’s the first of several announcements they have planned, and it’s already stacked:
Tickets are on sale now.
NY death metal legends Immolation, who headlined Irving Plaza in 2022, and who continue to release amazing, mind-bending albums nearly 40 years into their career, share a bill with Ancient Death, who were great at TV Eye last week (their first NYC show since releasing our favorite death metal album of 2025 over a year ago) and the also-great Siege Column from NJ. This feels like a perfect show to christen the venue’s new NYC space, but stay tuned for more announcements because it may not actually be opening night.
The biggest show in the first announcement is Dillinger Escape Plan, who reunited with their original singer in 2024 and played THREE nights at the muchhhhhhhhhh bigger Brooklyn Paramount. Vitus and Dillinger and their members are tight, so no surprise that the band wanted to do this one, which we assume will sell out instantly. They also played the Greenpoint location multiple times, most recently in 2015.
Emma Ruth Rundle‘s show is part of her just-announced full band tour. Buzz Kull and Kontravoid had a TBA Brooklyn show on the tour they announced earlier this month, and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal also had a TBA show on the Secret Boy tour they announced in May.
We’re excited to have you back, Vitus!
