Riot Fest 2025 is underway now at Chicago’s Douglass Park, and things kicked off on Friday (9/19) with a day capped off by a headlining set from blink-182. They brought out Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio (who also performed Maybe I’ll Catch Fire in full earlier in the day) to join them on their Skiba-era favorite “Bored to Death,” and Descedents‘ Stephen Egerton to join them on their cover of “Hope” – see more about that HERE.

Friday at Riot Fest also featured sets from Knocked Loose, Weird Al Yankovic, Rilo Kiley, Rico Nasty, The Hold Steady (who played Separation Sunday in full), Samiam (playing Astray), Shonen Knife, Puddles Pity Party (who brought out Ronald Osbourne of Mac Sabbath to join him on his cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”), Camper Van Beethoven, and more.
