MEMORIALS touring ahead of Hopscotch Fest in September

MEMORIALS, the UK duo of Verity Susman (Electrelane) and Matthew Simms (Wire, It Hugs Back), will be back in the US in September to play Raleigh’s Hopscotch Festival, and ahead of that they’ve announced a few East Coast headline shows, hitting Kingston, Brooklyn, Atlanta and Charlotte. All dates are listed below.

The Kingston show is at Tubby’s on 9/3 and the Brooklyn show is at Union Pool on 9/4. Tickets are on sale.

I caught MEMORIALS at Tubby’s back in May, and they were terrific and really fun to watch as Susman and Simms switched instruments mid-song. Don’t miss them if there’s a show near you.
