Over the weekend, Aphex Twin released to new, very similar tracks to his soundcloud, neither of which not the glitchy music you might associate with him. He says: “Got many requests for this one from a few years back, italy, pic with my love from scilly recently…need sun…relentlessly raining in uk.”

MAKTHAVERSKAN – “PITY PARTY”
Swedish post-punks Makthaverskan have confirmed that a new album called Glass And Bones is coming on April 3, and the first taste is the driving, soaring “Pity Party.”

SAMPA THE GREAT – “CAN’T HOLD US”
Zambian rapper/singer Sampa the Great is back with a triumphant, hard-to-pin-down new single that she’s self-proclaiming “Nu Zamrock.”

MELODY’S ECHO CHAMBER – “THE HOUSE THAT DOESN’T EXIST”
Melody Prochet releases her new Melody’s Echo Chamber album, Unclouded, this Friday and here’s one last airy, lightly psychedelic appetizer before the whole thing drops. Melody says, “’The House That Doesn’t Exist’ turns the impossible perspective of a joyful human life in today’s world into reality, evoking a new sense of faith.”

RACHEL CHINOURIRI – “LITTLE HOUSE”
Rachel Chinouriri has made a final addition to her 2025 EP, the title track. “‘Little House’ was the first song that inspired the entire project and it didn’t feel right to not have it complete the entire thing,” she says. “I am happy to share my journey as someone who used to be quite closed from all the betrayal from previous relationships or situationships and I am glad that I am the way I am in love because I truly didn’t think I’d be able to feel this way about someone.”

THE CORAL – “CHRISTMAS ON CORAL ISLAND” & “SHE DIED ON CHRISTMAS DAY”
Liverpool vets The Coral have a new holiday-themed 7″ out with two new songs. They describe it as “haunted xmas” music.

KIWI JR – “HARD DRIVE, ONTARIO”
Toronto’s Kiwi Jr just released new single “Hard Drive, Ontario” and now they’ve given it a well-done video.
