A WINGED VICTORY FOR THE SULLEN

Ambient duo A Winged Victory for the Sullen will be heading to North America to play Pop Montreal and while here are playing headline shows in Chicago, Toronto, and Brooklyn (Pioneer Works on September 28 & 29).

POP MONTREAL 2026

2026 marks the 25th anniversary of festival Pop Montreal and the lineup is great as usual, but we’re most excited about Think About Life’s first show in nine years.

BLU & EXILE

Hip hop duo Blu & Exile have will be touring in support of new album Time Heals Everything including an NYC show at Baby’s All Right on July 15.

SHANNON SHAW BAND / GEORGIA MAQ

Shannon & The Clams’ Shannon Shaw has announced the Wet Hot American Summer Tour with Georgia Maq and stops in Nashville, Chicago, Brooklyn (Baby’s All Right on 7/29), DC, Pittsburgh.

LITTLE STEVEN’S UNDERGROUND GARAGE CRUISE

The 2027 edition of Little Steven’s Underground Garage Cruise has The Damned, X, D Generation (playing their second show in a decade and first since 2022), Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, Glen Matlock of Sex Pistols, The Return of Jackie and Judy (Carrie Brownstein, Corin Tucker and Fred Armisen’s Ramones tribute band), and more.

WITCH CLUB SATAN

Norwegian black metal trio Witch Club Satan are about to go on their first-ever North American tour. Shows begin later this month, with Penelope Trappes opening the first leg and Patriarchy opening the second.

INDEX (EX CONTROL TOP)

Index, the new group from former Control Top members Alan Creedon and Alex Lichtenauer, just released their debut single and will play their first-ever shows this summer including NYC’s TV Eye on July 15 openning for Hunx & His Punx.

LUCKI

Chicago underground rapper Lucki has announced the Bad Influence tour which is with SK8STAR. Dates include two nights at Brooklyn Paramount on September 8 & 9.

PHILLY MUSIC FEST

The 2026 edition of Philly Music Fest happens October 12-18 and the lineup includes The Dillinger Escape Plan, RJD2, Sweet Pill, Marietta, a “surprise headliner” and more.

LUNA

Luna have announced a fall tour that will have them out throughout September and October.

ERYKAH BADU / DE LA SOUL / THE ALCHEMIST / DJ PREMIER

Erykah Badu has added support to her NYC show at Forest Hills Stadium on September 18. Like her Vienna, VA show, De La Soul will be opening, as will The Alchemist. He’s also added another NYC show of his own with DJ Premier, at Webster Hall on July 9. De La Soul, meanwhile, also have a free SummerStage show with Pete Rock at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park on July 17.
