The story of Bélier Bleu begins not in a glamorous studio or on a massive stage but at a humble desk in Germany in 2016. The artist, immersed in cover bands and late-night performances, realized that playing others’ music was no longer enough. The urge to create something truly personally led to the completion of a 45-minute set of original songs. These tracks, performed in cozy venues and artist cafés, were the first hints of what would become a career defined by energy, honesty, and irrepressible punk spirit.

By 2017, the need for more musical force inspired the formation of a duo with Brazilian drummer Giselle Kasper, evoking the raw intensity of the White Stripes and the early Black Keys. Together, they recorded the EP Düsseldorf live, with only four microphones and zero overdubs, capturing the unfiltered energy of their early sound. Returning to France to pursue music full time, the artist endured a period of solo experimentation and rotating collaborators until 2022, when a stable trio emerged with Ludo Roche on bass and Pierrick Daligault on drums.
