Young Fresh Fellows announce 2026 East Coast tour

Pacific Northwest indie rock cult heroes Young Fresh Fellows, led for over 40 years by Scott McCaughey (R.E.M., Minus 5), rarely make it to the East Coast, but we’ve been blessed this decade. In 2024 they played their first shows here in over 20 years and now they’re coming back again this October, playing NYC, Troy, DC, Philly, Baltimore, Richmond and Carrboro. All dates are listed below.

The NYC show is October 16 at Bowery Palace (fka Bowery Electric) with WFMU’s Todd-O-Phonic Todd as the night’s DJ and tickets are on sale.

The Carrboro date is Popsicle Fest, which also features The Connells, Superdrag, Chuck Prophet, The Mayflies USA, The Popes, Jonny Polonsky, Five Eight, and Bass Battery.

Meanwhile, Scott McCaughey will be in NYC this week as The Minus 5 play Bowery Ballroom on Friday (8/7) as part of The Fleshtones’ 50th Anniversary celebration that also features Goons and DJ sets from Todd-O-Phonic Todd and Gaylord Fields.
