Union Pool celebrating 25th anniversary w/ free shows: Eric Copeland, Frankie Rose, Ryan Sawyer, more

Brooklyn bar and music venue Union Pool opened in 2000 and has been home to great music, the free Summer Thunder series, drunken hookups, and occasional debauchery in the two and a half decades since. Much of Williamsburg has changed drastically, with most of the neighborhood’s small music venues long gone, but Union Pool is still here as is it’s independent streak, through the real estate boom, pandemics, and fires. They still have live music nearly every night, ranging from the avant garde to legends to hyped UK bands playing their first US shows.

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Union Pool is hosting two free shows this month with some of their favorite artists and old friends:

Wednesday, October 29 features the Ryan Sawyer Trio, Bill Nace + Samara Lubelski, 75 Dollar Bill, and Tara Jane O’Neil. Grab free tickets here.

Thursday, October 30 features Frankie Rose, Eric Copeland (Black Dice), PC Worship, and Ice Balloons (ft Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio). Grab free tickets here.

Cheer, Union Pool! Thanks for sticking around.
