PINKSHIFT
Pinkshift have announced a toor where they’ll play acoustic at record stores. Dates kick off at NYC’s Rough Trade on 8/27 and from there will play Philly and Baltimore.
EMPIRE! EMPIRE!
Emo revival really is back. Algernon Cadwallader just announced a new album, Good Luck are teasing something, and now Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) have announced a reunion tour leading up to their appearance at Best Friends Forever.
CINDY LEE
Cindy Lee has added a second NYC show to their short fall tour.
MEGADETH
Megadeth announced a final album and farewell tour without giving much in the way of details apart from it’s gonna last for a while.
FEBRUARY / FIRST BLACK DAY
February has announced a run of California dates with First Day Back happening in mid-September. Gapyear will join on all dates, with The Ritornello Form, Clay Birds, and more at select shows.
MAMMOTH GRINDER
Mammoth Grinder will be heading out in October on what they say is “the last MG tour for quite some time.” Dates include San Diego, Albuquerque, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and more.
DROP NINETEENS
Drop Nineteens will be taking a break from recording their new album to play special shows in NYC and San Francisco.
JON BATISTE
Jon Batiste will celebrate his new album Big Money with a show at SummerStage in Central Park on August 18. “It’s going to be the greatest show on earth!” says Jon.
MAL DEVISA
Mal Devisa is playing a one-off at NYC’s Berlin on August 27. The show will also feature “Special Guests” TBA.
RACING MOUNT PLEASANT
Racing Mount Pleasant have adding headline shows in Los Angeles (11/1 at The Echo) and NYC (11/19 at Baby’s All Right).
ALIEN BOY
Portland, OR band Alien Boy released their very good third album You Wanna Fade? in May, and they’ll be taking it out on the road this fall. They’ve announced a new US tour of the East Coast and Midwest, where they’ll be joined by Empath.
STILL HOUSE PLANTS
Experimental UK punk trio Still House Plants, whose album If I don’t make it, I love u made a lot of 2024 Best Of lists, are back in the US this month and are playing a free show in NYC ahead of Denver’s Ghost Canyon festival.
