Live Nation

Live Nation has inked a new employment agreement with president and CEO Michael Rapino, who’s expected to continue leading the company through 2031.

Additionally, the Ticketmaster parent has launched Creator Nation, which co-founders Scott and Alexis Fisher will lead with an eye on helping content creators turn their “influence into businesses designed to last.”

Suno

Michael Chua, formerly Ticketmaster’s global vice president of business development and strategic partnerships, has joined Suno as live experiences VP and Songkick GM.

Warner Music MENA

Warner Music MENA has promoted longtime Qanawat exec Ahmed Nureni to MD and welcomed Ahmad Alghawanmeh, who comes aboard following nine years with Sony Music, as GM.

GoDigital

Focused on “driving greater expansion into Asia,” GoDigital Music has tapped Sebastian Mair (previously Muserk’s head of business development in Asia) to serve as APAC president and partnered with Japanese entertainment company Pony Canyon.

Empire Publishing

Empire Publishing has brought on ex-Rimas Publishing MD Emilio Morales as SVP of business development for Latin America.

Believe

Following a five-year ADA run, Adriana Sein has signed on as Believe’s first Americas president.

Music Publishers Association

Longtime Faber Music CEO Richard King is officially the Music Publishers Association’s board chair.

Beggars Group

Beggars Group has formally announced four hires, adding: former Nettwerk national promotion manager Max Datner as director of radio and music discovery; Stone’s Throw vet Ariana Mamnoon as manager of radio and music discovery; ex-Columbia digital marketing team member Rrita Hashani as audience and marketing director; and Molly McGuffin as social content producer.

Pacific Music Group

Pacific Music Japan has set sail with Tomomi Takeshima and MiMi Shimada in place as co-heads.

Baddest Behaviour Records

Additionally, Mau P has debuted Baddest Behaviour Records and named Jelle Keizer label manager.

Sphere Entertainment

Former SoundCloud and ADA/WMG higher-up Matthew Granados has stepped in as Sphere Entertainment’s senior manager of strategic operations and alliances.

Sony Music UK

Following “more than a decade of happiness and prosperity at Universal” Music, Jack Fryer is now Sony Music UK’s commercial group president.

In the newly created role, Fryer “will lead Sony Music UK’s catalogue…alongside the company’s digital media agency and sync teams, under one strategic umbrella focused on creative innovation.”

Big Loud Records

Longtime financial professional Dustin Miller has joined Big Loud as president of catalog acquisitions.

Splice

Splice has named Kate Guarente-Smith, previously GitHub’s PR lead, head of communications.

Spotify

Spotify and Joe Rogan have finalized “a new multi-year licensing agreement” – with reports placing the deal’s value at somewhere around $250 million.
