Brown Horse talk influences on new LP ‘Total Dive,’ share “Comeback Loading” video
UK indie-country band Brown Horse are releasing their third album, Total Dive, this Friday (4/10) via Loose Music, and ahead of that, they each told us about some of the albums that influenced it. Watch that here:
The band also shared a new video for “Comeback Loading,” where they tune up their tour van. It’s inspired by Bruce Springsteen playing a mechanic in his “I’m On Fire” video, and songwriter Patrick Turner says, “With this song I was trying to connect the kind of dumb, ironic t-shirt slogans you’d see everywhere when I was growing up to something a bit more real: memory, going back home, hearing about the things childhood friends had been dealing with since you last spoke to them, that sort of thing. The chorus wraps all that up in a couple of Springsteen references.” Watch that below.
Brown Horse tour the UK following the release of Total Dive, and they have their first-ever North American tour in May, including an NYC show at Night Club 101 on May 20 with God’s Country and Adelyn Strei. See all dates below.
