Amazon Music will livestream Miguel’s City Sessions performance from New York on November 19 on Twitch and Prime Video, starting at 9 PM ET.

Amazon Music has announced it will livestream R&B singer-songwriter Miguel’s City Sessions performance on November 19, broadcasting live from New York City. Miguel will celebrate the release of his new album, CAOS, alongside fan favorites in a stripped-down, acoustic setting. The performance sets the stage for Miguel’s global CAOS Tour, which kicks off its North American leg in February.

City Sessions provides fans with an intimate experience with one of R&B’s most compelling artists. The exclusive event will take place at the new Intel Experience Store in Manhattan, where fans will be invited to a pre-show Fan Experience in the retail space before heading down to the basement for a special performance. A limited number of tickets are available.

Fans can also watch the concert on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Prime Video, starting at 9 PM ET on November 19.

Miguel’s first four albums have established him as a global pioneer with a label-defining sound and vision. The 40-year-old musician’s latest offering aims to build on that foundation with a “vulnerable, uncompromising tour de force.”

A showcase of the world’s most exciting musical talent, City Sessions has hosted signature performances by artists like Kings of Leon, Andra Day, The Black Crowes, Nelly Furtado, Glass Animals, Bastille, Wallows, and Sofi Tukker.

Developed by Amazon Music as its marquee live concert series, the program pairs intimate in-city performances with behind-the-scenes artist conversations and the premiere of new material. The series has expanded globally, with confirmed appearances in cities such as London, Manchester, Madrid, Milan, and Mexico City. Customers can currently watch previous broadcasts on Prime Video.

Curiously, for all its promotional work, exclusive releases, livestreaming, and focus on the growing country music audience, Amazon Music hasn’t maintained a robust market position against the likes of Spotify and Apple Music. The platform has even been declining in paid subscriptions over the past few quarters, according to DMN Pro data.

Anyone can listen to Amazon Music by downloading the free app, and Prime members get access to over 100 million songs, playlists, and ad-free podcasts. Amazon Music Unlimited adds full, on-demand access to millions of songs in HD, Ultra HD, and Spatial audio, as well as the world’s largest selection of audiobooks from Audible.
