Madonna teams up with LGBTQ+ social networking app Grindr for an exclusive partnership to launch “Confessions II,” just in time for Pride season.

Madonna has long been an icon for the gay community, and the artist has long returned that sentiment, using her platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ people across the world. Now, ahead of the release of Confessions II, the sequel to her 2005 album, Madonna has teamed up with Grindr for a global launch party.

Starting today (April 24), users will experience an evolving in-app takeover featuring exclusive content—dynamic, location-aware moments that appear within the “Global Gayborhood”—and limited drops, including a new picture disc of Confessions II, handpicked by Madonna, exclusively for Grindr users.

The experience is designed for “curiosity, timing, and people who know where to look,” and rewards participation and discovery, “connecting users not just to content, but to each other.”

“Grindr drives connections, shapes culture, and builds community—and no one embodies that spirit quite like Madonna,” said George Arison, CEO of Grindr.

Additional details will be teased in the coming weeks in the Grindr app and on Grindr’s social channels, leading into Confessions II’s release on July 3. Madonna’s Grindr app takeover requires iOS version 26.6.1 or Android version 26.6.

Last Friday, Madonna debuted the first taste of her upcoming album, “I Feel So Free,” on SiriusXM’s Pride Radio.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Madonna revealed on social media that the purple jacket, corset, and dress that she wore during a surprise performance with Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella are missing—and she’s offering a reward.

“Bringing Confessions II back to where it began was such a thrill,” Madonna wrote. “This full-circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing. […] These aren’t just clothes; they are part of my history.”

“I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team,” she continued, providing an email address for her representatives.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Indio Police Department said that “at this time, there is no evidence to suggest the bags [of clothes] were intentionally stolen.”

“Preliminary investigation indicates the two bags containing the items may have fallen off a golf cart operated by staff who were on their way to load the bags onto a bus,” the PD’s statement continued. “Upon arriving at the hotel shortly thereafter, the staff realized the bags were missing.”
