Dub/post-punk legend Adrian Sherwood shares new EP, plots first-ever North American solo tour

Hot on the heels of this year’s The Collapse Of Everything, post-punk and dub legend Adrian Sherwood is back with this new EP featuring longtime collaborators African Head Charge and rising jazz ensemble Speakers Corner Quartet. These four tracks are psychedelic, enveloping and compelling — it’s another feather in the cap of one of the great innovators of the last 40+ years. Listen below.

Sherwood will be going on his first-ever solo headline tour of North America this spring, with dates surrounding his appearance at Knoxville’s Big Ears festival. The “Live Dub Sessions” tour, which features visuals by frequent collaborator Peter Harris, hits NYC at Superior Ingredients rooftop on March 27 and all dates are below.

If you’re unfamiliar, over the years Sherwood has worked with everyone from The Pop Group, The Fall and Maximum Joy to Coldcut, Depeche Mode, Primal Scream, Sinéad O’Connor, Skinny Puppy, Panda Bear, Spoon and more, and led his own groups New Age Steppers, Tackhead and more. He’s a legend who’s still going strong.
