It was a very John Stamos-centric Saturday at Riot Fest, where after years of attempts, the festival finally got the Full House actor to appear and perform with Beach Boys (who he’s frequently a touring member of). Stamos presented Riot Fest with a list of “demands,” to secure his attendance, including that Riot Mike get a Stamos tattoo (he did!) and that a Stamos lookalike contest be held at the festival (you can see pictures from that in the gallery below).

“I’m so grateful to all of you for showing up and ribbing me all these years,” Stamos told the crowd from the stage, as Chicago Sun Times points out. “You’ve kept me humble and the best part is I get to stand here with the greatest band in history. When discord is at an all-time high and decency at an all-time low, at least we have music of The Beach Boys.”

Saturday at Riot Fest also had Weezer (continuing their Voyage to the Blue Planet tour and playing the Blue Album in full), Jack White, GWAR, Buzzcocks, Militarie Gun, Dropkick Murphys, Helmet (playing Betty), James, Marky Ramone (playing Ramones), and more.
