Set Your Goals book ‘Mutiny!’ 20th anniversary tour with The Warriors, I Am The Avalanche, more

Hardcore-infused pop punk vets Set Your Goals recently returned to the stage at a few festivals, and now they’ve announced their first proper tour in years to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their game-changing 2006 debut album Mutiny!. They’ll be joined on the East Coast dates by their very old friends The Warriors (also playing their debut album, 2004’s War Is Hell), New England punks Restraining Order, and West Coast hardcore-infused pop punk newcomers Stateside. The West Coast dates are with East Coast heroes I Am The Avalanche, Oakland crossover thrashers Doomsday, San Francisco hardcore band Bad World, and Bay Area melodic emo band Giveaway. “These songs still mean a great deal to us,” the band says, “and we are so grateful for the opportunity to still be sharing them with all of you two decades later.”

The band also just released their first new song in 14 years, a super catchy pop punk song called “Accelerate.” It’s up for pre-order as a vinyl 7″ with the B-side “Big Couch,” and a tour-only variant will be available at the shows.

The new songs are out on the label In Bloom, which Fueled by Ramen’s Johnny Minardi is part of. “Set Your Goals sent a demo to Fueled By Ramen in 2005, and I completely fucked up – I loved it but never reached out,” Minardi says. “Thankfully, Goonies never say die. Fast forward 20+ years, I got my hands on an early version of ‘Accelerate,’ and it absolutely blew my mind. Somehow, this band is even better in 2026 than they were back then. Welcome back, legends!”

The East Coast run includes a NYC show at Le Poisson Rouge on October 3. All dates are listed below.
