MOGWAI 30TH ANNIVERSARY SHOWS
Mogwai say: “30 years ago this month, we started our own label, Rock Action and released our first ever single, the double A side 7” – Tuner / Lower. 30 years on, we’re marking the anniversary with a video to accompany Tuner, featuring rare footage from our early days through to now. We’re also announcing some very special shows to mark the year.” So far there are no Very Special Shows in North America but they will play the Sydney Opera House, Primavera Sound, Øyafestivalen, Green Man, and are currently set to close their 30th Anniversary celebration with two Glasgow shows in November.

Broken Social Scene, Metric and Stars are touring together this year and they’ve just added more dates, including Seattle, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Dublin, London (both the UK and Canada), Paris, Berlin, and more.

JUDY COLLINS FAREWELL TOUR
Folk legend Judy Collins has announced the “Sweet Judy Blue Eyes” farewell tour which runs this summer through the fall of 2027. Cities include Denver, Honolulu, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, Chicago and more.
DINOSAUR JR / BAND OF HORSES
Dinosaur Jr. and Band of Horses have announced a co-headlining summer tour where they each perform one a classic album in full – 1993’s Where You Been for Dinosaur Jr., and 2006’s Everything All the Time for Band of Horses.
TREY ANASTASIO
Trey Anastasio of Phish has announced a North American acoustic tour. The shows happen in May and June, and he’ll be joined for them by a longtime collaborator, keyboardist Jeff Tanski.
EVANSTON FOLK FEST 2026
The 2026 edition of the Evanston Folk Festival happens September 12 & 13 at Evanston, IL’s Dawes Park. This year’s lineup includes Trampled by Turtles, Indigo Girls, Josh Ritter, Valerie June, Sierra Hull, James McMurtry, Mdou Moctar, Kathleen Edwards, The Brudi Brothers, Hayden Pedigo, Folk Bitch Trio, Anjimile, and more.

JUST LIKE HEAVEN 2026
Just Like Heaven fest has announced its 2026 edition. The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem are this year’s headliners, and the lineup also includes TV Girl, Chromeo, The Rapture, Feist, Twin Peaks (who are back after a five-year hiatus), and more.

Cleveland indie-punks The Sonder Bombs have announced late spring dates with Megan From Work and Gay Meat opening depending on the date. Stops include Brooklyn’s Purgatory on June 7 with Megan From Work.

British mathcore vets Rolo Tomassi will be back in the US in July to play Post Fest in Indianapolis and will stick around for shows in Chicago, Philly and NYC (TV Eye on 7/31).

Hunx and his Punx have announced the Punkettes Gone Wild Tour which includes West Coast dates in June with new K band Slippers, and the rest of the country in July, including NYC’s TV Eye on 7.15.

Annual free, all-ages, all-DIY punk festival Punk Island has announced its 18th annual edition. It will happen on Saturday, June 27 on Randall’s Island. Lineup TBA.
