Tinashe announces new LP ‘Popstar,’ shares “Crash Out”

After releasing her first new song in two years last month, “Too Easy,” Tinashe has announced a new album. Popstar, the follow-up to 2024’s Quantum Baby, is due out on September 25 via Atlantic. She hasn’t shared many details of it yet, but that’s the cover art below.

She’s also shared a second single, “Crash Out.” It was produced by Couros, who also has writing credits on it, along with Zikai and Bobby Raps. Hear it below.

Tinashe is on the lineups for Outside Lands, All Things Go DC, and FORM Arcosanti this summer and fall. Those are her only upcoming shows that we know of; stay tuned.
