The inaugural TikTok Awards at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles last night saw Alex Warren crowned Breakthrough Artist of the Year. That’s no small feat, with the artist having been up against heavy-hitting newcomers Katseye, Laufey, Ravyn Lenae, and sombr.
Warren also won Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 7, making this his second new artist win—and he’s already nominated for Best New Artist at the upcoming Grammy Awards on February 1. There, he will also face off against Katseye and sombr, as well as Olivia Dean, The Marias, Addison Rae, Leon Thomas, and Lola Young.
Meanwhile, in other categories at the TikTok Awards, Paris Hilton was named Muse of the Year, Keith Lee was named Creator of the Year, while Jeremiah Brown was crowned Rising Star of the Year. Ahead of the show, a live red carpet pre-show took place, hosted by correspondents Dylan Kevitch, Hannah Kosh, and Taylor King. In the spirit of Creator of the Year winner Keith Lee, TikTok is also making a $50,000 donation to Feeding America.
“The TikTok Awards brought together our community of more than 170 million Americans to celebrate the creators who shaped culture across food, fashion, entertainment, sports, learning, and more,” TikTok wrote. “This inaugural ceremony marked a new era of recognition on TikTok, honoring those who turned creativity into real cultural impact.”
The awards show streamed live on TikTok and on Tubi, the official streaming partner of the TikTok Awards 2025. The ceremony will also be available on demand the following day on Tubi.
