Earlier this week, Mitski announced a series of residency shows happening in cities worldwide, including NYC and Los Angeles in the US. Ahead of that, she’s announced a much more intimate warm-up show, happening this Sunday (2/8) at Basement East in Nashville. It’s with Bleary, and tickets go on sale Saturday, February 7 at 11 AM, in person at record store Grimey’s only.
Here’s more information about ticket sales:
Each individual ticket purchased includes GA entry to the show (standing only) and a pre-order of Mitski’s upcoming album (limited quantities of vinyl, CD, and cassette options are available). For all ticket buyers 16 and up, entry to The Basement East requires a valid photo ID matching the name on your ticket order. Ticket buyers without a matching ID to their order will not be admitted. Limit 2 tickets per person
TICKET PURCHASE INSTRUCTIONS
When you arrive to purchase tickets on Saturday morning, please form one line starting in the lawn at Living Waters (immediately next door to Grimey’s). Look for the small yard sign saying MITSKI TICKET LINE STARTS HERE. (If you’ve been to Grimey’s for Record Store Day, you’ll know the drill.) We recommend you arrive no earlier than 9:00 AM to line up. At approximately 10:55 AM Grimey’s staff will escort the ticket line from the grassy lawn at Living Waters to the front door of Grimey’s. We’ll then direct customers into the store where the ticket line will run down the left side of the shop (down the CD aisle), towards the stage, where ticket preorder bundles will be available for purchase. Be sure to check out Grimey’s Parking FAQs here: grimeys.com/parking and please be considerate of their awesome neighbors including Living Waters Brewing, Anaconda Vintage and Tone Central Station, all of whom share a parking lot with the record store.
Mitski’s new album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me is out on February 27 via Dead Oceans, and you can hear the latest single, “I’ll Change For You,” below, and pre-order it in the BV shop.
