You can catch ‘em all at Los Angeles and London as The Pokémon Company hosts a pair of EDM concert experiences featuring American DJ Marshmello and Australian DJ Alison Wonderland. The beloved franchise’s 30th anniversary celebration will be open to fans 16 years of age and up, and will feature custom sets and Pokémon-inspired visual storytelling.
The festivities kick off at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on October 24, and at the O2 Arena in London on November 10. Fans can buy tickets for both shows starting on April 18 at 10 AM PST (Los Angeles) and at 10 AM BST (London).
The Pokémon Night Out celebration promises to be the first of its kind, pairing performances by top EDM artists with a “dazzling show filled with cutting-edge technology and animation.”
“Fans will be able to commemorate Pokémon Night Out with awesome new merchandise from Pokémon Center, both at the shows and on the online store,” the company announced. “In the meantime, you can also visit Pokémon Center to celebrate with plush of the Pokémon that will be themed to Pokémon Night Out, such as Pikachu, Mewtwo, and more.”
Meanwhile, fans of the OG Pokémon games will be excited to learn that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have re-released the Game Boy Advance remakes of Pokémon Red and Blue on Nintendo Switch Online for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
There’s also a Game Boy-shaped portable Pokémon jukebox—a cute little music player that can be loaded with different melodies or sound effects from the original games’ soundtracks.
