Foo Fighters share new single “Caught in the Echo”

Foo Fighters‘ new album Your Favorite Toy arrives next month, and they’ve given us another preview with “Caught in the Echo.” It’s the opening track of the album, and like the title track, it finds them in garage rock territory. Hear it below.

Dave Grohl also spoke with The Guardian for a new interview, where he said he’d been in therapy six days a week for 70 weeks” since admitting to fathering a child “born outside of my marriage” in 2024. He and the rest of the band also spoke more about the loss of drummer Taylor Hawkins, and about new drummer Ilan Rubin (formerly of Nine Inch Nails). “He has a real deep knowledge of classic rock, but he plays like a hardcore drummer,” Grohl said of Rubin. Foo Fighters’ next show happens a few days after the release of their album in Bridgeport, CT, and their North American tour, which is with Queens of the Stone Age, Mannequin Pussy, and Gouge Away each joining them, varying by day, resumes in August.
