Coheed and Cambria released their 11th album, The Father of Make Believe, back in March, and they’re on a co-headlining tour with Taking Back Sunday supporting it through September. The tour hits Morrison, CO’s iconic Red Rocks on September 12, and they’ve announced that show will stream live on Veeps that night, starting at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT. Tickets to watch are on sale now.
Meanwhile, Revolver Magazine is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Coheed’s third album, 2005’s Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, with a new special collector’s issue. It’s 100 pages with a UV coated cover and all-access photography throughout, including a cover by Justin Borucki. Here’s more from Revolver:
In new, exclusive interviews, the band members tell the story of Coheed and Cambria (so far) in their own words — from the group’s humble beginnings, to lineup changes and real-life battles, to their rise as prog-rock icons with a die-hard cult following.
The collector’s issue is available on its own, with a limited edition slipcase, and packaged with an exclusive, limited-to-1000 ruby vinyl variant of the album. There’s also a box set, The Amory Wars: The Original Tetralogy set, that includes:
The Second Stage Turbine Blade, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, and Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow variants are also each available separately, and there are two different limited edition, exclusive t-shirts and an exclusive slipmat. Pick up all that, our exclusive clear, black and magenta tri-color variant of The Father of Make Believe, and more in the BV shop.
Coheed also recently announced a new acoustic rooftop performance and Q&A with Matt Pinfield on the roof of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, happening on September 23. Tickets go on sale Saturday, September 6 at 12 PM PT.
