Hayley Williams wrapped up the North American leg of her Bachelorette Party tour at Kilby Block Party on Sunday and with a trio of Los Angeles shows last week. She’s been bringing out different surprise guests throughout the run, and she kept that coming for these shows. Jay Som joined her for night one at The Wiltern for the live debut of her song “Past Lives,” which Hayley features on, and Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast joined Hayley for the night’s final song, “Parachute.”
For night two, This is Lorelei (aka Nate Amos, also of Water From Your Eyes, who have been opening these shows) came out to join Hayley and her Power Snatch collaborator Daniel James on a cover of his song “Perfect Hand,” which Power Snatch also cover on the recent super deluxe edition of Box for Buddy, Box for Star. And on night three, Hayley joined Jenny Lewis on a rendition of Rilo Kiley‘s “Silver Lining” during the main set, and Julien Baker joined Hayley on “Parachute” to close out the night. Watch video of all that below.
There were no guests during Hayley’s Kilby set, but as we guessed might happen when she brought out Mike Kinsella in Chicago last month, she joined American Football on “Uncomfortable Numb,” their LP3 song she features on, during their set earlier that day. Watch video of that below as well.
Next up for Hayley is a tour of Europe, and then her North American “The Hayley Williams Show” tour begins in September. See all dates below.
