Lip Critic share “Jackpot,” announce NYC residency in a laundromat, boxing ring & more

Lip Critic‘s new album Theft World arrives in May, and they’ve given us another preview with the second single, the chaotic, maximalist “Jackpot.” The band say it’s “a song about risking it all, and winning it all, betting the house, and ending up with two houses, then waking up with nothing at all.” Watch the video, directed by Colter C. The band will be on a spring tour starting at the end of May, which they hadn’t announced an NYC show for. They’ve now revealed they’ll be doing a three show “Theft Saga” NYC residency, where they’ll be “trying new songs from the album, selling cursed objects and printing 1 of 1 T-shirts.” The shows happen at a laundromat (March 21, location revealed to ticketholders, with Pop Music Fever Dream), a basement (March 26 at Spring with Balaclava), and a boxing ring (April 9 at 148 Frost Street, with Mx Lonely).
