Shudder to Think back on Dischord for first new music in 27 years

Shudder to Think are now really back. They just started their first tour in over a decade last night in Boston, and now have announced a brand new 7″ which is their new music since 1998.

The new 7″ finds the band back on Dischord Records — their last two studio albums were for major label Epic — and features two new songs, “Thirst Walk” and “Playback.” Shudder to Think have not shared either song yet but it will be available at the merch table at their upcoming shows and it’s official out November 7. Shudder to Think gave “Thirst Walk” its live debut last night at Boston’s Middle East in a set that was heavy on Pony Express Record and Get Your Goat tracks. Check out video from the show and the setlist below.

The tour hits DC tonight and on Saturday (10/25) they’ll pull into NYC for two shows: an early show at Night Club 101 and a late show at Mercury Lounge; both are with Zwei Null Zwei. After that they head to the West Coast, and all dates are listed below.
