FKA twigs‘ January album Eusexua is one of our favorites of the year so far, and she’s confirmed the release date for its followup, Eusexua Afterglow, on November 14 via Young/Atlantic. It was originally intended to be a deluxe edition of Eusexua, but it’s become its own full-length work; a press release says it “expands on the feelings that come after experiencing Eusexua, transmuting them into a soundtrack for the hours after the rave and extending that high into the afters.” twigs calls it “a visceral waterfall, as you leave the rave in search of your next wonder, give her your consent to kiss, splash and caress your naked skin. Eusexua stripped you down and her aftermath is hungry, raw and ready to be adored.”
The first single is “Cheap Hotel.” Jordan Hemingway directed the video, which features the Clermont Twins, and you can watch it below.
