So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

BRIAN ENO + BEATIE WOLFE – “THE LAST TO KNOW” / “RINGING OCEAN”

Brian Eno & Beatie Wolfe already released albums Lateral and Luminal earlier this year and now they’ve announced a third, Liminal, which will be out October 10 via Verve. They say: “Liminal stands at the point of convergence between Lateral and Luminal. If Lateral is a kind of landscape painting, a sonic place, Luminal is a dream-like awakening, a feeling space. Liminal, the newest addition, is a hybrid of the two, a strange new land with a human living and feeling its way through its mysterious spaces. Liminal is set in the borderlands between song and non-song (or “nong” as we call it), where the listener is exploring an intimate and unfamiliar new sonic world, as yet unclaimed, and still ambiguous.” Hear two songs now.

SOULWAX – “NEW EARTH TIME”

There’s a little of Soulwax’s fellow Belgians Front 242, and a lot of drums, in the band’s new single. All Systems Are Lying is out October 17.

DOJA CAT – “JEALOUS TYPE”

Doja Cat has announced a new album, Vie, due September 26 via Kemosabe/RCA. Its new single “Jealous Type” was made with Jack Antonoff and Ari Starace aka Y2K, and it finds her in full ’80s pop mode.

KINGS OF LEON – “WE’RE ONTO SOMETHING” (ft. ZACH BRYAN)

Zach Bryan recently had Kings of Leon open his tour, then he had them appear on his song “Bowery,” and now Kings of Leon had Zach appear on their new single “We’re Onto Something.”

AMBER MARK – “LET ME LOVE YOU”

R&B/alt-pop singer Amber Mark has announced a new album, Pretty Idea, due October 10 via PMR/Interscope, and she’s also shared new single “Let Me Love You.”

JAY WORTHY – “P FUNKENTELECHY” (ft. GEORGE CLINTON & LEVEN KALI)

LA rapper Jay Worthy will release his album Once Upon A Time on September 26 via Empire, and new single “P Funkentelechy” features P-Funk’s own George Clinton (along with Leven Kali), and definitely sounds cut from the funky sound that George Clinton himself helped invent.

CHEAP TRICK – “TWELVE GATES”

Rock greats Cheap Trick have announced new album All Washed Up which will be out November 4 via BMG. “Our newest single release, ‘Twelve Gates,’ from the 2025 LP All Washed Up, is one of our best yet,” says bassist Tom Petersson. “ I really love how this song came out. It’s one of my favorites on the album.”

KLEIN – “RICH DAD POOR DAD”

DILLINGER FOUR – “LIKE SPREWELLS ON A WHEELCHAIR” (2025 REMASTER)

Minneapolis punk heroes Dillinger Four have announced a rarities compilation, This Shit is Geniuser, and the first song to be released is a newly-remastered version of “Like Sprewells On A Wheelchair,” which was originally exclusive to Fat Wreck Chords’ 2004 compilation Rock Against Bush, Vol. 2.
