Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) has announced its 2026–2027 Board of Directors, with Kurt Johnson (Townsquare Media) returning as President, John Shomby (Country’s Radio Coach) as Vice President, and Matt Sunshine (The Center for Sales Strategy) as Secretary.
New additions to the board include Travis Daily (Cumulus), Shelley Hargis (BBR Music Group), Jay Cruz (Big Machine Records|Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment), and Mike Molinar (Big Machine Music).
The University of Miami has tapped Matt Serletic to serve as the new dean of the Frost School of Music.
Former Republic Records and RCA professional Daria Stachera has joined Mom+Pop Music as VP of digital marketing. Operating out of the company’s New York office, Stachera will build and lead a new digital team, reporting directly to founder Michael Goldstone.
Maxie Gedge, previously a European project manager at Secretly Group, has joined the booking agency ROAM in the newly created role of head of artist delivery.
Yamaha has appointed Garth Gilman as corporate VP of the music instrument business unit, effective November 2nd. Additionally, the company has elevated Amy Sorter (piano), Reed Larimore (guitar), Doug Steinmetz (band and orchestral), and Gary Glugman (digital music instruments) to general managers of their respective divisions.
Tim Dukes has joined the multi-platform consulting and marketing group Collective Heads as its newest partner. Dukes brings extensive broadcasting experience to the team, having most recently served as the president of Hope Media Group.
Believe France has launched ALL IN, a new pop entity uniting the naïve, Animal63, All Night Long, and Jo&Co labels. Sébastien Saussez has been tapped to head the new division. Meanwhile, Fabiola Hurel, Lola Capolunghi, Julie Ganter, and Fanchon Josse will continue to lead the artistic vision for their respective individual labels.
Following a more than 25-year run on the air across Florida’s Space Coast, veteran radio host Bill Mick has retired from iHeartMedia Melbourne’s 92.7 WMMB. Mick hosted his final “Bill Mick LIVE” morning broadcast on September 18th.
