Google announces a slate of new connected apps coming to its Gemini AI assistant, including Ticketmaster, Pandora, and iHeartRadio.

This week, Google announced a slew of new connected apps coming to its Gemini AI assistant, including several music and live events-focused favorites. Over the coming weeks, the company will roll out integration with Ticketmaster, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and more. Notably, the news comes just a day after Gemini passed a billion monthly active users.

Fans can connect Ticketmaster as an app within Gemini and then type @Ticketmaster when asking the AI about concerts, sports, theater, festivals, and other live events. Gemini will return event information, seating options, and ticket prices. Users can then pick an option before being sent to Ticketmaster to complete the transaction—with their selected seats already chosen.

The event ticketing company said that on the event organizer’s end, eligible events surface automatically based on relevant fan searches, with no additional implementation required from clients. Transactions are completed on Ticketmaster’s marketplace, “ensuring that every purchase is protected by Ticketmaster’s security enhancements and terms of use.”

“Ticketmaster’s Gemini integration is the latest addition to its suite of AI implementations built on its MCP (model context protocol),” the company said, noting that its listings are also included in Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Claude, and Amazon Alexa+.

Ticketmaster first launched its app inside ChatGPT in April, after OpenAI announced the chatbot’s weekly active users had exceeded 900 million. In July, it added integration with Anthropic’s Claude. However, the Gemini launch is currently only limited to the U.S.; the Claude integration is now live in over 20 countries.

Earlier in the week, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that the Gemini app had surpassed a billion monthly active users, making it the company’s 14th product to reach that milestone. Google parent Alphabet reported 950 million monthly active users on Gemini during its Q2 earnings report just late last month.

Ticketmaster initially partnered with Google in November 2025, when it became an “early commerce partner” for Google Search’s opt-in experimental AI Mode. Meanwhile, SeatGeek launched ChatGPT integration on March 31, claiming to be the first ticketing platform to carry both primary and resale inventory in an AI chatbot.
