Ringo Starr remains active on the road with his All Starr Band, which features Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette, and Buck Johnson, and having wrapped up his spring tour in mid-June, he’s announced a new round of shows for the fall. They happen in September and October and are clustered around the northeastern US. See all dates below.
The tour includes an NYC show at Forest Hills Stadium on October 1 (his first time performing there since The Beatles’ August 28 and 29, 1964 shows), a Bethel, NY show at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on September 25, and a Holmdel, NJ show at PNC Bank Arts Center on September 27. Tickets to all shows go on sale Friday, July 10 at 10 AM local.
“We just finished a Spring tour which ended at the Greek,” Ringo says. “It was all so great – the audiences were so loving, and I just love playing with this band. I’m really looking forward to these Fall shows. See you in September – Peace and love, Ringo.”
He released his new country album Long Long Road in April, and he’s celebrating his 86th birthday tomorrow (July 7); Happy early Birthday, Ringo!
