Phoebe Bridgers shares first single from new LP ‘Lost Weekend’ ft. Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, Alex G, more

Phoebe Bridgers announced her first album in six years, Lost Weekend, yesterday (pre-order it on rogue planet green vinyl), and now she’s given us a first taste with the first single, “Lost Boys.” It’s a song I remember hearing at her surprise Madison Square Garden show earlier this month, and she produced it with Tony Berg, Ethan Gruska, and Jack Antonoff. Alex G contributed additional production, drums, and voice memo, and Phoebe’s boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker both sing on it. The “Lost Boys” credits also include Phoebe’s longtime collaborators Christian Lee Hutson (acoustic guitar), Marshall Vore (drums, percussion) and Harrison Whitford (electric guitar, 12 string guitar), as well as Blake Mills (synthesizers), Chris Thile (mandolin), Nate Walcott of Bright Eyes (trumpets), and more.

Lost Weekend is out on August 14 via Dead Oceans, and Phoebe will be on a phone-free tour supporting it starting in September, including Brooklyn shows at Barclays Center on September 24, 25, and 26 with Alex G. See all dates below.
