Watch Jello Biafra join King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard on Dead Kennedys’ “Police Truck”
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard‘s current North American tour wraps up this weekend at their Buena Vista, CO festival Field of Vision, which they’re playing a three-hour marathon set at each night. The first of those nights happened on Friday (8/5), where, as Stereogum points out, they had a special on hand towards the end of the night. They brought out Jello Biafra to join them on Dead Kennedys’ “Police Truck” – watch video below.
King Gizzard introduced Jello as “one of our heroes,” and Jello called them his “favorite band in the world” after the song. There’s also video of them soundchecking before the show, and you can watch that below as well.
King Gizzard were in NYC earlier this month for a pair of Forest Hills Stadium shows, and you can see pictures from the second night with U.S. Girls below.
