ComplexCon sees the return of music battle series “Verzuz,” with Cash Money and No Limit Records pitting their artists and hits head to head.

Get ready for the return of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s music battle series Verzuz, due to return this October 25 and 26 at ComplexCon Las Vegas. The event will feature Cash Money Records going head to head with No Limit Records as the two labels pit their artists and hits up against one another on one stage. Livestreaming details are forthcoming.

“Verzuz is BACK—live at #ComplexCon Las Vegas. Cash Money VERZUZ No Limit Celebration,” reads the announcement from Complex on Instagram. “One stage. Two legendary iconic Labels. History is about to be made.”

Founded by rap industry legends Birdman and Slim in the ‘90s, Cash Money is well known for amplifying the careers of juggernauts like Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. No Limit was created by the great Master P, and brought up such artists as Snoop Dogg.

No Limit reports over 100 million albums sold worldwide, while Cash Money claims over 1 billion—owed in no small part to its roster of contemporary household names like Drake.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s iconic virtual battle series rose to prominence during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Popular battles include Snoop Dogg vs. DMX, Brandy vs. Monica, and Ashanti vs. Keyshia Cole.

Verzuz’s triumphant return comes years after the platform began to lay dormant. The last battle promoted on Verzuz’s social media channels was in 2022, with reggaeton pioneers DJ Nelson and DJ Luny.

The return of the iconic battle series comes after previously announced performers on ComplexCon’s lineup, including Young Thug, Yeat, Peso Pluma, and more. ComplexCon will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall on October 25 and 26. The festival will offer several purchasing options, including a single-day option for $150, and a 2-day General Admission for $250.
