The release party events will take place from October 3 to October 5 across thousands of screens in the United States and across the world. The official release party will play at all 540 AMC Theatres across the United States and additional circuits like Cinemark and Regal, as well as Cineplex in Canada, Cinepolis and Cinemex in Mexico, and various international partners.
The experience is set to launch at 3 pm EDT on October 3, with simultaneous screenings in multiple time zones. The event will last for roughly 89 minutes and will contain plenty of exclusive content for Swifties who want to celebrate Taylor’s newest release.
Attendees will be the first to view the world premiere of the music video “The Fate of Ophelia.” The event also features exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot, new lyric videos, and Taylor Swift’s personal reflections on tracks from the album.
AMC tickets for the event in the United States are priced at $12. The theater chain says it will allow fans to sing and dance during the release party, but requires that guests not stand on seats or block any aisles or stairs during their celebrations. The event will also start promptly with no trailers or pre-show ads before it begins. No refunds are offered to discourage resale and AMC says it will enhance security and conduct bag checks throughout the release weekend events.
This marks Swift’s second venture with AMC Theatres Distribution, following the record-setting ‘The Eras Tour’ concert film in 2023. That release grossed over $261 million worldwide, becoming the top-grossing concert film of all time.
