Simone Ferioli’s ‘Una Sola Pace’ carries peace beyond ceremony into heart-and-soul-wrenching operatic balladry –

Simone Ferioli became a conduit of humanity to evoke empathy in his heart-and-soul-wrenching release, Una Sola Pace. With music, arrangements and voice by the Italian singer-songwriter, and lyrics by Antonella Iaschi, the single reflects on the drama of war and the profound need to recover what unites humanity: peace.

Through a depiction of scenes we are all in danger of becoming numb to in the official music video, the tenor’s voice resonates with devastating poignancy. Within the melodically stripped-back, orchestrally scored ballad, Ferioli’s octave range rises beyond any need for applause; it implores his expansive international fanbase to never stop hoping for peace.

The track avoids hollow sentiment by keeping its emotional architecture direct.
