Denzel Curry & Kenneth Blume (fka Kenny Beats) reunite for new album, share Yebba-featuring “DIFFERENCE” (BV-exclusive vinyl)

Rapper Denzel Curry, who has lately been dipping his toes more in hardcore, and producer Kenny Beats, who now goes by Kenneth Blume and is known lately for working with bands like IDLES, Geese, Fcukers, and Weezer. are teaming up again. Six years after their excellent 2020 collaborative project UNLOCKED, the duo have announced its follow-up, ii, due August 21 via Loma Vista.

We’ve got exclusive color vinyl variants of the new album and of UNLOCKED. PRE-ORDER/ORDER one or both records now in the BV Shop.

Along with the announcement, Denzel and Kenny have shared the album’s closing track, “DIFFERENCE,” featuring singer Yebba. Watch the video below.

The 9-track ii also features guest appearances from JPEGMAFIA and Westside Gunn, and it’s not Denzel’s first release this year. Earlier in 2026 he released rap supergroup album The Scythe. JPEGMAFIA & he also cross paths on the recently-released Maxo Kream album.

Kenny says:

“The work Denzel and I do has never been easy, which is why it’s so rewarding. We’ve started every project on opposite sides of a coin and fought our way to the center. When I hear this album I hear the growth and the fight in equal parts.”
