CREEPING DEATH
Creeping Death are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a special show at Denton, TX’s Rubber Gloves on August 23 with Enforced, Skourge, Fleshrot, Kombat, Torture Tomb, Skimp, Myth Carver, Saintpeeler, Feral Cry, and Level also on the bill. “This one’s goin’ down in the history books,” they say.
THE HOLD STEADY MASSIVE NIGHTS 2025
The Hold Steady have announced the 2025 edition of their Massive Nights run at Brooklyn Bowl. This year’s a little different.
HIGH ON FIRE
High On Fire have announce a North American tour with Charger and Bastardane, kicking off September 17 in Vancouver and including stops in Edmonton, Calgary, Salt Lake City, Vegas, and more. Before that they’ve got a few summer dates with Acid Bath and Windhand.
MICHAEL KIWANUKA
Michael Kiwanuka has canceled his tour dates through the end of the year “due to continued illness, and on the advice of doctors. “We know this is disappointing news to hear, and nobody is more disappointed and saddened than Michael to no longer be taking to the stage as planned. Love and thanks to everyone for their understanding.”
THE STRAY CATS
The Stray Cats have announced their first tour since Brian Setzer’s auto-immune diagnosis in February (he’s doing much better).
ERYKAH BADU
Erykah Badu will celebrate 25 years of her second LP, 2000’s Mama’s Gun, on tour this fall.
ORANGE 9MM
Orange 9mm will play Brooklyn’s tiny Gold Sounds on Thursday, August 7 that is being billed as “an intimate performance and video shoot.” Also on the bill: NYC Shootout and Activator.
MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT
Chicago industrial vets My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult, who have been banging out the cheeky jams since 1987, have announced the Delicate Terror Tour which has them out with Die Sexual and Devora. Dates include NYC’s Gramercy Theatre on November 5.
