Rumors about a Radiohead tour have been circulating for some time now, and on Tuesday things ramped up a notch as fans discovered flyers in London and Copenhagen appearing to advertise multi-night runs. The band have now confirmed the shows, their first in seven years, which happen in Spain, Italy, London, Denmark, and Germany in November and December. See all dates below.
“Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it,” drummer Philip Selway says. “After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us. It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.”
For tickets, you’ll need to register on radiohead.com. Registration opens on Friday, September 5 at 10am BST/11am CEST, and runs through Sunday, September 7 at 10pm BST/11pm CEST.
Last month, the band surprise-released a Hail to the Thief live album. Earlier, in May, Thom Yorke issued a lengthy statement discussing his views on Israel, Gaza, and “social media witch-hunts.”
