NBC expands its relationship with Snoop Dogg, announcing him as a game analyst on Peacock’s Los Angeles Clippers versus Golden State Warriors match.

Snoop Dogg will be an NBA game analyst on Peacock’s Los Angeles Clippers versus Golden State Warriors game on Monday, January 5, the broadcaster announced today (December 22). It’s the latest expansion of Snoop’s relationship with Peacock-owner NBC, after he received strong reviews for his hosting during last year’s Summer Olympics.

“This is a dream come true for me,” said Snoop. “I’m fired up to be joining Reggie Miller and Terry Gannon on the call for the Clippers-Warriors game on January 5. I can’t wait to bring a fresh vibe to the analysis while celebrating the skills and strategy these teams bring every night.”

Snoop will call the game’s second half from courtside along with Terry Gannon and Reggie Miller. He will also attend the pregame meetings and observe tea first half before putting on his headset.

“We’re excited to have Snoop bring his unique energy and passion to our NBA coverage,” said Sam Flood, executive producer at NBC Sports. “It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch Snoop, Reggie, and Terry talk hoops with a side order of fun.”

After his successful stint hosting during the Summer Olympics, the hip-hop legend will also play a major role in NBC’s coverage of the Milan-Cortina Winter Games in February.

Meanwhile, the NFL will feature Snoop on Netflix’s halftime show on Christmas Day during the game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party” will feature country superstar Lainey Wilson, as well as the singers behind Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” girl group HUNTR/X. The global stream of the game at U.S. Bank Stadium kicks off on December 25 at 3:30 PM.

Snoop Dogg’s partnership with the NFL and Netflix streaming marks a continuation of Christmas Day NFL games being streamed with a huge headliner. Last year, Beyonce performed songs from her Cowboy Carter album for the Christmas Day NFL halftime show.
