LCD Soundsystem announce openers for Knockdown Center run (which starts soon)

LCD Soundsystem‘s 2025 Knockdown Center run starts next weekend with its first four shows, and they’ve announced this year’s openers, which are different every weekend:

• November 20-23 is with NYC electro trio Public Circuit, who sound like they could have been on DFA Records in 2005 (in a good way)
• December 4-7 is with Los Angeles synthpop band Automatic, who released their great third album, Is It Now?, in September
• December 10-13 is with RIP Magic, who The Guardian called “London’s buzziest buzz Band and is led by Marco Pini who also plays in Sorry”

The Knockdown Center run will also feature “International DJs” before and after the shows, a DFA Records swap meet, and the Four Horsemen pop-up will be back as well pouring a selection of natural wines. But will we get a new LCD song?
