Mosaert, the independent creative house and publishing company founded by legendary Belgian artist Stromae, has renewed its worldwide administration deal with Warner Chappell Music (WCM), the publishing arm of Warner Music Group. Led by WCM France, the deal will see Stromae’s catalog—including hits like “Alors on Danse” and “Papaoutai”—continue to be represented worldwide by the global publisher.
Celebrated for his boundary-pushing artistry across a number of disciplines, Stromae has won wide acclaim for his unique sound that interweaves influences from a variety of sources, including rap, pop, afrobeats, electronica, and world music.
His influence was recently underscored by the record-breaking success of “Ma Meillure Ennemie,” which became the most-streamed Francophone song in a 24-hour period in Spotify history following its release in 2024.
“We are happy to extend our journey with WCM,” read a statement from Mosaert. “This renewal allows us to keep exploring new creative territory with the same independence and ambition that we’ve always had.”
“We’re delighted to be renewing our relationship with Mosaert, home to Stromae and his world-class creativity. As disruptors in the creative space, we’re excited to see how they’ll continue to push boundaries in music, fashion, and more, as we extend our next set of creative journeys with the team,” concluded Guy Moot, CEO and co-chair, Warner Chappell Music.
The renewal comes as Stromae’s career continues to shine, with his double victory at Les Victoires de la Musique awards in 2023. There, he won both Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Multitude.
Mosaert was founded in 2009 by Stromae (Paul Van Haver), his wife and creative director Coralie Barbier, and his brother and executive creative director Luc Van Haver. The label is an anagram of “Stromae” and was designed to maintain total artistic autonomy.
