JOHN FOGERTY / STEVE WINWOOD

John Fogerty and Steve Winwood are teaming up for The Legacy Tour which begins September 3 in Tinley Park, IL and wraps September 20 in Clearwater, FL. The tour hits Long Island’s Jones Beach on 9/12, and Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on 9/13.

TOTAL BUMMER

A few of our favorite noisy alt-rock vets and some very exciting newer punk, shoegaze and experimental artists are coming together for a mini-festival in NYC over Memorial Day Weekend. The lineup includes Dinosaur Jr, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Meat Puppets, Drop Nineteens and more.

THE HEAD & THE HEART

The Head & The Heart have announced more dates of their 15th Anniversary Tour where they’re playing their self-titled debut in its entirety. Among the 28 newly announced shows is NYC’s Brooklyn Paramount on May 10 with The Brudi Brothers opening.

MEKONS

Mekons will be in the US this summer to play Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival and before that will be touring, including shows in Chicago, Baltimore, Philly, NYC, and more. A few of those shows are with The Sadies.

JILL SCOTT

Jill Scott released her first album in 11 years, To Whom This May Concern, last month, and now she’s announced a tour supporting it.

THE STRAY CATS

Rockabilly greats The Stray Cats have announced a summer US tour, with stops in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Kansas City, Atlantic City, and more.

MAKE DO AND MEND

Connecticut/Boston post-hardcore band Make Do and Mend released their third album, Don’t Be Long, in 2015, but they lapsed into inactivity after touring in support of it. They’ve now returned to social media with the announcement that they’ve recorded a new album, On Going, and will be playing shows.

FRANZ FERDINAND

Franz Ferdinand were tapped by My Chemical Romance to open their NYC concert at Citi Field on August 9 and they’ve now announced US headline shows around that.

EMF

Early-’90s rave rockers and “Unbelievable” hitmakers EMF have been back together for a few years and have just announced a short spring North American tour with Ecce Shnak. Dates include NYC’s Sony Hall on May 13.

CRACK CLOUD

Crack Cloud’s new album Peace and Purpose is out this Friday and they’ve just announced a pair of US shows: LA on August 22 at Lodge Room and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on August 27.

THE MOUNTAIN GOATS

The Mountain Goats are now playing two nights at Carnegie Hall in NYC on December 10 & 11. They’ve got lots more shows before that.

WARPED TOUR DC

Vans Warped Tour has been gradually rolling out the lineups for its 2026 editions, which happen in Long Beach, Montreal, Mexico City, Orlando, and Washington DC, and they’ve now announced (almost) the full lineup which includes Jimmy Eat World, Coheed and Cambria, Hot Mulligan, GWAR, and more.
