DJO / POND
DJO, aka Joe Keery (who might be as famous for his music as his acting work these days), has announced a big summer tour that includes support dates for Tame Impala, and a few big headline shows of his own where Pond will open. Headline shows include NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium on July 17.
LOLLAPALOOZA 2026
Lollapalooza’s lineup is pretty good this year.
PAUL MCCARTNEY
Paul McCartney played a run of very intimate shows at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom last year and now he’s doing something similar in Los Angeles next week.
PUBLIC IMAGE LTD
Public Image Ltd have announced an extensive set of North American dates as part of their “This Is Not…The Final PiL Tour.” The 2026 leg begins September 3 in Pioneertown, CA and wraps October 9 in Nashville. There’s also a 2027 leg, which begins February 17 in Salt Lake City and finishes March 24 in Cleveland.
ANGINE DE POITRINE
Viral French Canadian polka-dotted microtonal mathrock duo Angine de Poitrine announced two NYC shows (Le Poisson Rouge on September 9 & 10), their first US dates, a couple weeks ago, which immediately sold out. They’ve now added more US dates to their 2026 tour schedule, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, DC, and Philly.
VIAGRA BOYS
Viagra Boys will be back in North America to play Lollapalooza this summer, and while here have announced early August headline shows in Toronto and Cleveland.
THE BREEDERS
The Breeders will be on tour this summer, including a stop at Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival, Pacific Northwest dates with Team Dresch, and closes out with an opening slot at My Chemical Romance’s Denver show.
RATBOYS
Ratboys have been supporting their fantastic new album Singin’ to an Empty Chair on tour, and they’ve extended the run into the summer. Their new shows are in June, July, and August, and include dates with villagerrr, Golden Apples, and a show supporting Jimmy Eat World in Toronto.
ELLA MAI
British R&B singer-songwriter Ella Mai will be on tour in North America this summer, bringing Ama and Girlfriend with her. The tour wraps in NYC on August 28 at Radio City Music Hall.
PASSION PIT (FULL BAND)
Michael Angelakos has been doing solo Passion Pit shows over the past few years, but he’ll be taking the full Passion Pit band on tour this summer.
ST VINCENT ORCHESTRAL TOUR
St Vincent has been announcing orchestral shows throughout North America, mostly one or two at a time, and now she’s added a bunch more to the run.
LUCINDA WILLIAMS
Lucinda Williams released her new album World’s Gone Wrong in January, and she’ll take it on the road in the US this spring.
ANN WILSON DOCUMENTARY SCREENING & Q&A TOUR
There’s a new documentary about Heart’s Ann Wilson, In My Voice, and Ann will be touring with it in May, along with director Barb Hall. There are 10 screening/Q&A events scheduled including NYC’s City Winery on 5/27.

WIDOWSPEAK
Widowspeak will be on tour this summer for their new album Roses which is out June 5 via Captured Tracks. The tour begins in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 16.
OF MONTREAL
of Montreal have announced an extensive North American summer tour. The first leg of the 36-date run is with Austin garage punks CorMae, and the second leg is with NYC indie rock band Sloppy Jane.
MINUS THE BEAR
Minus the Bear will continue to celebrate 20 years of their classic sophomore album, Menos El Oso (which we placed at #2 on our list of Minus the Bear albums ranked), on tour this year. They’ve announced new September US shows on the East Coast and in the Midwest with Keep, and have a few dates supporting Jimmy Eat World too.
RISE AGAINST / ALKALINE TRIO
Rise Against will continue to tour 2025’s Ricochet this year, and they’ve announced a new US run with Alkaline Trio. The shows happen in September and October, following their current spring run with Destroy Boys, Speed of Light, and Koyo.
STOKED FOR THE SUMMER 2026 OPENERS
Bouncing Souls have announced the undercard for Stoked For Summer which happens June 27 at Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park. Also on the bill: Less Than Jake, The Lawrence Arms, Bane, School Drugs, and Twenty Two.
HORSE LORDS
Baltimore experimentalists Horselords will be on tour this summer in support of their upcoming album, including Winnipeg Folk Fest.
WINNIPEG FOLK FEST 2026
Horselords might not be the kind of band you’d imagine at at a folk fest but Winnipeg Folk Festival begs to differ. It’s a diverse lineup and if you like Horselords’ style of mathy skronk you might also be excited to know that polka-dotted duo Angine de Poitrine are also on the bill, alongside Billy Bragg, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, Sylvan Esso, Wolf Parade, Of Monsters and Men, The Barr Brothers, Black Country New Road, Anna Tivel, GOAT, Hannah Cohen, Kathleen Edwards, Real Estate, Ribbon Skirt, and more.
