GoDigital Music has announced the acquisition of several Latin music rights catalogs in a transaction valued at approximately $115 million. The deal adds over 30,000 new assets to GoDigital Music’s catalog, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion into culturally resonant music IP.
The acquisition was financed by Regions Bank and Corrum Capital, reinforcing institutional confidence in the long-term value of Latin music rights and GoDigital’s strategy to scale IP across music, video, and commerce. The deal represents one of the largest Latin music acquisitions of the year and underscores GoDigital’s growing influence as a long-term investor in global music rights.
“It was a very complex deal to structure and close,” said Alessandro Fiorotto, who led the transaction as CFO for Cinq Music, a GoDigital Music company. “We’re grateful for the collaboration with all parties involved and delighted to have brought this across the line.”
As part of the announcement, GoDigital Music also unveiled the substantial acquisition of Marc Anthony’s catalog, one of the most influential Latin artists of all time. The catalog continues to bring in hundreds of millions of streams per month across platforms, with hits like “Vivir Mi Vida,” “Rain Over Me,” and “Ahora Quien,” illustrating a legacy of global hits and enduring cultural impact.
The transaction highlights the company’s commitment to investing in culturally significant music IP across genres and generations. It adds a diverse mix of Latin, rock, and hip-hop works to GoDigital Music’s growing catalog.
“Latin music isn’t just growing; it’s the new global soundtrack,” concluded Jason Peterson, GoDigital Founder. “These catalog acquisitions reinforce GoDigital Music’s commitment to investing in culturally relevant music IP and building platforms that connect artists with audiences across generations and geographies.”
