A Reddit thread focused on a tranche of emails between Jeffrey Epstein and musician Ramsey Elkholy of Monotronic, dated March 13th, 2026
After suing A&R Worldwide parent company Pangea Entertainment for alleged breach of contract, Ramsey Elkholy has now turned his sights on Digital Music News’ factual reporting of his repeated appearance in the Epstein files publicly released by the United States Department of Justice. The cease and desist letter follows communications with Elkholy concerning the article published by Digital Music News titled, “Musician Ramsey Elkholy of Monotronic Appears 2,000+ Times in Epstein’s Emails—Here’s What They Discussed.”
In this article, a timeline of Elkholy’s communications with Epstein is laid out chronologically, beginning with Elkholy’s ‘welcoming back’ of Epstein to the New York modeling scene following the financier’s 2008 guilty plea to Florida state charges of solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18. In 2010, Epstein settled all civil lawsuits related to the original conviction.
“The correspondence therefore demands corrective action and further serves as a formal pre-litigation preservation notice directing Digital Music News to preserve all documents and electronically stored information relating to the article and any communications concerning Dr. Elkholy,” the legal letter continues, which is also signed by Aidala attorney Imran Ansari.
Conti has yet to call us back, though the article is a factual recounting of thousands of actual conversations that Ramsey Elkholy held with Epstein, beginning around 2009 and continuing until 2018. That’s when the Miami Herald published a piece outlining the sweetheart deal Epstein received from Florida prosecutors.
All of these communications were taken from publicly available documents released by the United States Department of Justice. They are in no way a complete picture of the relationship Elkholy held with Epstein, because only a small number of Epstein emails and documents have been made available to the public. But just to offer a quick sample: documents from the released email tranches see Elkholy referring to one woman as ‘built for carnal pleasures’ and asking Epstein to help “make [REDACTED] come to NY and be my love slave.”
Incidentally, Casey Wasserman of the former Wasserman Agency also had his connections to the Epstein files exposed, and the fallout for his talent agency was covered extensively by Digital Music News for the same reason. But in the case of Wasserman, no direct communications were documented with Epstein himself; only with his infamous confidante, Ghislaine Maxwell. Overall, Wasserman’s communications were relatively small in comparison to Elkholy’s seemingly endless email threads with the financier.
Throughout our investigation, Digital Music News noted that while young, none of the women Elkholy spoke about with Epstein were underage. Elkholy’s ongoing communications with Epstein saw the musician bringing young models aged 19-25 to the disgraced financier’s New York townhouse for several years. Digital Music News highlighted many of these communications with Epstein, citing direct quotes written by Elkholy in emails released by the DOJ.
Gutenplan is a self-described ‘fixer’ at the law firm Enenstein Pham Glass Gutenplan & Bolling LLP. It’s unclear if the firm represents other Epstein-tied defendants beyond Ramsey. “But you’re a good writer and the piece was well researched so might as well get it right and redact the excessive parts,” Elkholy told Digital Music News.
“Nobody seems to understand who Epstein was,” Elkholy continued. “His identity has taken on a mythic Kaiser Sose-like quality. If you met him you wouldn’t think anything was off, other than he’s always surrounded by interesting people and beautiful women. I can give you some insights into why he needed people like Ghislaine Maxwell, who I have never met.”
Digital Music News did not respond to this request for an off-the-record interview, nor did Gutenplan contact DMN in relation to the article. As of the publication of this article, attorney Giovanni Conti has not returned a call to discuss Elkholy’s communications with Epstein and DMN’s reporting of the communications. In a brief conversation with another associate at Aidala, Bertuna & Kamins, P.C., it was requested that DMN not refer to the aforementioned letter as a ‘nastygram’.
